Hey there, San Miguel friends! We’ve got some exciting news brewing right here in our beautiful town. A new hemodialysis clinic is on the horizon, thanks to some incredible community efforts and the Rotary Club!
On June 28th, we witnessed the laying of the first stone for this much-needed clinic, led by the J. Socorro López Foundation and our very own Rotary Club Smart. This project is driven by a heartfelt mission – to provide accessible medical care for folks battling kidney diseases. Pretty inspiring, right?
Oliverio Fernandez, a council member and a dedicated Rotarian, shared his enthusiasm, stating that this clinic would greatly benefit the community. With a target completion date set for early 2026, we can already see the light at the end of the tunnel!
The Rotary Club Smart has been busy making this project a reality by not only laying the groundwork but also securing the necessary dialysis machines. It’s teamwork at its finest!
This local initiative is sparked by the memory of a father, reminding us all of how personal stories can fuel progress in our community. It’s all about coming together and making a difference for those in need.
