Hello, San Miguel de Allende! Sounds like we’ve had quite a wild weather ride in town recently. A heavy rainstorm swept through San Miguel de Allende yesterday, leaving a trail of fallen trees, collapsed walls, and traffic chaos in its wake. To say it was a messy situation would be an understatement!
The storm took a toll on the La Cieneguita road and several urban areas, resulting in road closures and some serious risks for commuters. Local authorities are currently out there doing their best to manage the aftermath, so if you were planning to cruise down the Manuel Zavala bypass, you might want to rethink that.
